Publishing Articles Becomes So Easy with ScribeFire

   Posted by: Linda   in Default

I have beeing using wordpress for quite a few days, one thing that i cannot stand is the long time for the dashboard to load, write and publish anything.

Lucky today i find ScribeFire ,(tried to install windows live writer before, but doesnot work well at all) with which you can connect any blog, retrive informations such as category, archives, trackback, etc. What i love about this tool is that you can write within the browser. If your browser accidently crushes, the content will still be stored when you restart it.

Commercial bloggers can also get maximum exposure or moneytize their articles by using ScribeFire Quick Ads and ScribeFire Ad Network.

Overall, it has made my blogging much much easier. Enjoy it.

Resume Format, Official or Creative?

Linda's Resume Cover

This afternoon when I was reading something about design, I come across The 25 Most Creative Designer Resumes You’ll See This Year.

I thought my resume, which is a ebook with background music is already over the top, but I must say those are far more creative.

The sad fact is: will there be any people who would equally appreciate creative ideas as you? What if the recruiter is just a dull person who would be willingly to follow all those rules and traditions?

The other day, with some hesitation I attend a job fair. I cannot help noticing that no one else’s resume is more than one page. I do remember our teacher advised us to make our resume simple and official. But I never thought that the whole university’s students are following the same format. I stood there for quite a few minutes, feeling like I am an alien.

We are in 21st century now, why there are still so many people trying hard to follow? Following is not a bad thing. Sometimes it does bring us some guidance. But is not it too sad when this following becomes a phenomenon or habit?

I always think, what defines a person’s competence is not what you can borrow from others, but what you can learn from others and form your own ideas. In the future world, following is not going to bring you success.

Everyone can follow, but not everyone can lead.
